Lib Dem It is just over a week to go until Autumn Conference, and Liverpool 2010 promises to be as busy and exciting as ever for the Campaign! Please see below for information about the activities and events that CGB are organising this September.

Training

CGB is running a full programme of training, covering a range of skills and useful information for potential candidates and activists - please e-mail genderbalance.vol@libdems.org.uk for the full CGB programme

CGB Annual Fundraising Auction

Saturday 18th September, 8:30pm - 10pm

The CGB Annual Auction at Autumn Conference is the Campaign's main fundraising event of the year, helping us to support women who want to become Parliamentary Candidates. The 2009 auction was a huge success, and we hope that this year's event will be even better! Every penny of the auction proceeds goes towards helping women to get approved, selected and elected, so please do come and bring your friends along for a glass of wine and some bidding...don't forget your cheque book!

Diversity Engagement Group Drinks Reception

Sunday 19th September, 8:00 - 9:15pm

This networking event is being held for organisations and individuals within the Party concerned with diversity, and all Campaign for Gender Balance supporters are warmly invited to attend. Vince Cable, Chair of the Diversity Engagement Group, and Chris Fox, Chief Executive, will speak at the event along with several other high-profile Party representatives.

Political Reform ... in the dragon's den! (with the Electoral Reform Society)

Wednesday 22nd September, 1 - 2pm

What should a reformed Parliament look like? How could it change the culture of politics and the people who want to be politicians? Come along and hear radical ideas pitched to an expert panel, including Lynne Featherstone MP and Alice Delamere from the Electoral Reform Society

Exhibition Stall

As always, the Campaign will be holding a stall in the Exhibition Hall to provide a hub of information for any women who want to become candidates, or anyone interested in the support the Campaign offers.
