South Swindon Liberal Democrats have selected Dr Sue Stebbing as their PPC at the next general election.

Sue is a self employed management consultant specialising in organisational development and communications. A former army officer, Sue gained a BSc and PhD in environmental studies and countryside planning from London University before setting up her own consultancy.

Sue said "I am very excited to have been selected to fight South Swindon for our party and am looking forward to the challenge. We will show the electorate that the Liberal Democrats offer a real alternative to the discredited policies of Tony Blair and Michael Howard."

Lib Dem constituency chair Wendy Johnson said, " We have an exceptional candidate in Sue and I am confident that she has the energy and commitment to take us forward to great success. We have an excellent opportunity to move the party forward locally and we are determined to do so".
